Can anyone add any further information, presumably an outing to somewhere? The vehicle is possibly Rayleigh Motor Services Ltd and the driver is Les' late father, Ernest Thorington, in the front row. He started with A J Springett before moving onto Rayleigh Motor Services, then onto Westcliff and then Eastern National.
The styling at the rear reminds me of Southend's Regals delivered in 1931
