Yorkshire Woollen District, Dewsbury 707, HD8561, was a Leyland PS2/5 with a Willowbrook B32F body, one of thirty-five such saloons new in 1950, although the last six were on Leyland OPD2/1 chassis.
The chassis was extended and the body rebuilt by Willowbrook in 1955 resulting in it being B38F as seen here in Lowfields Road, Leeds having no doubt brought football supporters to Elland Road Stadium. It was withdrawn in 1962 and passed to Yorkshire Traction, Barnsley. The body was sold to Hoyle (dealer), Wombwell for scrap and the chassis overhauled and fitted with a Northern Counties H35/28F body to become number 1243, registered YHE243 in 1963 (photo here).
