Identifiable in a line-up of similar is Swindon Corporation 100, PMR100, the third of ten Daimler CVG6s with Park Royal H33/28R bodies new in August 1954.
It passed to enlarged authority Thamesdown Transport on local government reorganisation in April 1974. 97-100 were withdrawn together in March 1976 and passed to a Barnsley dealer two months later.
Photo one of two taken when still at school and given priority owing to a currect lack of Swindon photos on SCT61. Skirting of the depot's public surroundings was the icing on the cake to a fascinating British Rail Swindon Works visit. British Rail before privatisation excelled at long distance day trips, this was 06:30 ex Newcastle via Gloucester, returning at 15:10 via Melksham, Salisbury and Reading with Class 47 1541's long day finishing after midnight.
