Seen in Pool Valley Bus Station in Brighton is Southdown 269, GUF669, a Leyland PD1 with a Park Royal H28/26R body, the fourth of twenty-five new in 1946, with 269 being new in July.
The Fleet History records that, uniquely for the batch, a triple number route box was fitted to this one in 1956/7, but seems not to be in use here. Withdrawn in 1963, it passed to Mexborough & Swinton, as number 16, in April 1963, and was converted to H32/26R. It was sold for scrap in January 1966.
