SELNEC Northern 6201, ODK701, an AEC Regent V D2RA6G with Weymann H33/28R body, new to Rochdale Corporation (301) in 1956.
This was one of Rochdale's second batch of Mk. V's (298-307), featuring a Gardner 6LW engine coupled to an air-actuated AEC Monocontrol semi-automatic gearbox. The previous large batch delivered earlier in 1956 (268-297) were also D2RA6G models with the 6LW, but with air-actuated preselector gearbox, and the subsequent two batches (308-318 of 1957, and 319-322 of 1958) had more conventional AEC A218 9.6-litre engines with Monocontrol.
