New in July 1973 as Leeds City Transport 22, MUG522L was a Leyland PSU3B/4R Leopard with a Plaxton Elite Express II C49F body, and passed to West Yorkshire P.T.E. on its formation in April 1974.
It was renumbered to 62 in May 1974 and was seen in Elizabeth Street, London S.W.1, almost opposite the exit from Victoria Coach Station.
It was further renumbered to 118 in May 1977 when transferred to the Baddeley fleet. In January 1980 it passed, along with the similar 117/9, MUG 521/0L to Baddeley Brothers Limited controlled by G.B. Hirst, Holmfirth.
