CIE bought their first Leyland Atlanteans in the late 1960s. By 1970 the angular Metal Sections/CIE body had dual entrance layout.
Seen in Galway city is D385, 385IK, a 1970 Leyland Atlantean PDR1A/1. It is in the CIE blue and tan livery.
