West Midlands PTE 3753, KOX753F, was new to Birmingham City Transport as 3753 in 1968. She is a Daimler Fleetline CRG6LX with Park Royal H44/33F - see, PR could produce something other than a shoebox if they tried!
At the formation of the PTE, in 1969, she Birmingham fleet received new fleetnames and legal lettering, but repaints seem to have been as scheduled, rather than 'en masse'.
I have often wondered how Birmingham, and a few other authorities managed to get away with the "Bloggsville City Transport, Fred Jones General Manager" style, rather than the name and address of the undertaking everyone had. Any thaoughts, folks?
