Alexander Midland, Falkirk MRB247, RMS679, was a Leyland PD3/3C with an Alexander L35/32R body new in February 1961 as RB247 to Alexander, Falkirk. It passed in June to Alexander Midland and received the 'M' prefix to the fleet number in 1962.
It was one of seventeen Leyland PD3/3Cs which had been constructed using chassis constructed using parts taken from Leyland PS1s and engines from OPS2s fitten into new chassis frames. RB247 had used parts from PA119 and PB4. It was withdrawn in 1976 and passed to Smith (dealer), Glasgow in February.
