Barton 544, DNN239, was new in July 1937 as number 311 and was a Leyland LT7 Lion with a Duple DP39F body.
In April 1955 it was fitted with the 1948 Duple body from 544, JRR 924, having been fitted with a Leyland E181 7.4 litre engine and a PS1 radiator in August 1954, and was withdrawn in October 1958, being seen here in the yard at Chilwell.
