Eastern National 1116, MNO194, seen at Braintree was new in 1947 and was a Leyland PD1 with a Leyland L27/26R body. It was new as Hicks Brothers 82, but control of Hicks had passed to Eastern National in 1950 after Hicks sold out to the British Transport Commission and it was renumbered 1116 in the 1954 renumbering. In 1955 Hicks Brothers was wound up and the vehicles transferred to the main fleet. In 1961 it was rebuilt to PO33/26R and again renumbered, to 2104, in August 1964.
