Deakin, Isleworth was a regular entrant in the British Coach Rally for a number of years and was awarded a trophy every year. 2088HX was a Commer Avenger IV with a Yeates Europa C37F body, new in 1960, seen here on Madeira Drive, Brighton on the occasion of the Seventh British Coach Rally.
The trophy received was the one awarded to the driver who had held a P.S.V. Driving licence for the longest period and Mr. E.G. Deakin had, according to the Rally Programme for 1961, held a P.S.V Licence for 32 years.
