J.M.T. 24, J1199, withdrawn in September 1960, had been in the reserve collection of the British Transport Museum at Clapham and was taken on extended loan by G.G. Hilditch, the Halifax G.M. in 1968.
It was repainted into the Halifax J.O.C. livery of the 1930's and numbered 148, as well as being re-registered to MJX222J. A Leyland TD1 with a Leyland L24/24R body, new in 1929, it was later re-registered to SV6107.
