Southend Transport's 218, Leyland Leopard MJN218F, resting at Central Bus Station between operations on the low-frequency service 12 to Wallasea Island (on the River Crouch) via Stambridge and Canewdon. Notice the 'No Change Given' plaque beneath the nearside wiper - ST journeys could be quite costly if you did not have the correct fare at this period!
MJN218F was the last of four Leyland Leopard PSU3-1R with East Lancs B51D bodywork delivered new to Southend Corporation Transport in 1968
