New in 1966, FLF6G 2879, SVX278D, was swapped in October 1971 to W Alexander & Sons (Midland), in Falkirk Scotland, as part of the well documented exchange for VRTs. Midland operated it until 1980, and then sold it on to a Scout Group in Aberdeen.
They in turn sold it in 1982 to the North Eastern Bus Preservation Group, also in Aberdeen, but it never made it into preservation, passing instead to Stagecoach of Perth in March 1983. Operated briefly in this red and cream livery, it was stripped for spares by May 1984, and ended its days in October 1984 with Jones (dealer) Carlton. This view is taken at Stagecoach in August 1983.
