When I came across JBU273L, this Seddon Pennine in Blackpool in I think October 1972 (because it's scanned from a print and I went on to slides in 1973) I had no idea whether Dew was a coach operator or a contractor, but this vehicle looked quite new at the time.
From other recent comments it appears that Dew purchased two of these for staff transport and were probably unique in being supplied new to a Non PSV operator. The picture was taken in the lower level coach park entered just east of the railway bridge in Rigby Road whilst in the background can be seen Ribble double deckers parked in the higher level area on the old track bed of the Blackpool Central line with the roof of Blackpool Transport's depot behind them. This area later became a coach park for Blackpool FC and is now under housing.
