A special bus service linked the open day at Leyton Bus Garage in summer 1997 with central London, one of the buses used being open top RT4169, LYF228, in a very smart blue and cream livery. It carries the fleet name Regent, but its ownership is not clear.
Ian’s Bus Stop records it as being with London Pride on sightseeing duties in London in 1996, noting (without dates) its subsequent repainting in Eastbourne livery (as here) and sale to Belgium. Note that it has been fitted with the standard Ensign LT style blind box (as used on Ts and Ms), probably a relic of its use with London Pride.
