Brian Pask was born in Southend in 1937 and lived in the town for about 35 years. He took an interest in the local buses and trolleybuses from an early age and started photographing them in 1951, his first photo being of a Westcliff AEC Regent at the route 9 terminus at the top of his road. One of his claims to fame is that he was on Southend's last trolleybus on 25th October 1954! He moved to Ilford in 1974 but continues to keep in touch with events in Southend and was photographing there as recently as the beginning of 2010 (for the running day on 1st January).
Prints of all Brian's photos can be obtained from Essex Transport Sales, enquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
