LAT73 was a Leyland Titan PD2/3 with Roe H30/26R body, new in 10/50 to East Yorkshire Motor Services, no. 545.
The batch (527-50) had seating capacities which varied between H28/26R and H30/26R as delivered, in almost random fashion, based on delivery dates (those entering service in 9/50 had the lower capacity and those from 10/50 the higher). Those with the lower capacity were reseated to H30/26R in 10/50, immediately after entering service. All had the domed roof so familiar with East Yorkshire double deckers for passage through Beverley Bar. 545 was withdrawn in 1966 and passed to Colbro (dealer), Rothwell, for scrap.
Fortunately, 541 of the same batch survived by virtue of being used as a left luggage office at Scarborough and duly entered preservation.
