Former Eastern Scottish Bristol VRTLL6G with ECW 82 seat body new in 1968 as AA288, LFS288F, is seen working for Viking Tours in York on one the sightingseeing tours of the city.
In 1973 this bus had been exchanged for a Bristol FLF from the Southdown fleet.
It had a number of owners in the nineteen eighties including Alder Valley who converted it to open top. From 1992 to 2001 it was owned by Viking Tours who fitted a high speed rear axle and Gardner 6LXB engine enabling the bus to cruise at 60 MPH!
It is now restored to Eastern Scottish livery and preserved at Lathalmond.
