Eastern National
'Sold On' FLFs and VRs

AVW399F was delivered to ENOC in July 1968 as 2930. When withdrawn in 1981, it was sold on to Norths, Sherburn, then by October 1983 had passed to Horsell Graphics, Leeds, as a mobile exhibition unit, and toured Europe. By April 1985, it was back at Norths, and was sold in 1986 to Moodies Exhibition Services in Petersfield, with whom it served under various liveries, including Hamlyn Books, the "Bugs Bunny Road Show", Rabbit Phones, Lorius/Seiko watches and Enza New Zealand Apples.
This shot was taken in December 1992 in Croydon, during the Rabbit Phones tour. AVW was sold by Moodies in 1997, and went via London Bus Export Company to JLM Production in Lille, France, where it has helped to promote Lille's efforts to attract the 2004 Olympics to the town. It is now apparently up for sale and at an incredible price!
