Ugly as the back-end of a bus? Actually, I always thought the rear of an FLF to be quite handsome - more so when the rear upturned 'T' destination blinds were fitted. This view from April 1996, outside the Top Deck workshop in Chelsea sees former 2913, WWC743F, alongside former 2875, STW763D, being prepared for the summer season of trips and tours.
Between then and 1980, SVX served with W Alexander & Sons (Midland) Ltd, before being sold on to dealer Martins of Middlewich, then to Castrol Oils, Ellesmere Port, where it resided for many years.
