Eastern National
'Sold On' FLFs and VRs

WWC742F was a 1967 semi-Automatic FLF6LX numbered 2912 in the ENOC Fleet, and was withdrawn in June 1982, passing to Norths (dealer) of Sherburn. By August 1982, it had joined the fleet of Scottish independent Wilson's Supreme Travel of Carnwath. During its time with Wilson's, WWC lost its front upper deck opening windows, and several hoppers and sliders on each side. Not exactly sure when, but this bus passed through London Bus Export Company and was exported to the US.
This photo, taken on September 3, 1991, shows the bus looking tatty and unloved in a yard in Farmington, NY. Paul Bateson, who took the photograph, tells us the owner was Rick Schwartz of Canandaigua, NY, and that the local NY license plate reads BC 3684. The last report was in 2001 from John Avila in Massachusetts who had acquired it and was in the process of restoring it.
