Eastern National
'Sold On' FLFs and VRs

Seen in the yard of Ensign Bus in 1988, former Eastern National 2903, WVX530F, was sold on to Norths (dealer) in 1981, then quickly to Ensign and to Bus Fare Ltd, Albury, as a mobile hospitality unit
Leased to ICI, in whose livery it is seen here, the bus served until Bus Fare lost the contract by 1991, and the bus wound up with an unknown private owner in Twickenham. By then in a blue/grey and white livery (the last ICI livery applied after the yellow seen in the picture), the bus was the victim of a mandatory removal order and was impounded, ending up by April 1992 in a scrapyard not too far from Slough, where it still resides, its future uncertain.
