Eastern National
'Sold On' FLFs and VRs

By the time this picture was taken in August 1990, WNO974F, formerly Eastern National 2886 was nearing the end of its days.
Tattered and worn, this trusty semi-automatic 1967 FLF6LX was sold on from ENOC in December 1981 to APT Bracebridge Heath (Dealer), then appeared at Ensign in May 1982, freshly painted red and owned by The London Torah Centre in Tottenham Hale as a school bus. WNO served day in and day out until its condition deteriorated so much that despite rescue efforts by the School who sent the bus to Eastern National Engineering in August 1990 (where this shot was taken) for estimates on repairs, the dreaded rear-end FLF droop proved uneconomical to repair. It passed through dealer Frank Spence of Thorpe Bay to PVS in Carlton and was scrapped by January 1991.
