Eastern National
'Sold On' FLFs and VRs

SVX277D was one of the 1966 Eastern National FLFs that made the long trek North of the Border in exchange for a Bristol VR in September 1971. Between then and 1980, SVX served with W Alexander & Sons (Midland) Ltd, before being sold on to dealer Martins of Middlewich, then to Castrol Oils, Ellesmere Port, where it resided for many years.
This shot, taken by well known dealer Carl Ireland of Hull, shows SVX immaculately outshopped in LT red, prior to being exported to German dealer "Der Blickfang". Then it became one of the buses used by the Irish, but Germany-based singing and dancing "Kelly Family" - it was seen in Oberhausen, Germany in January 2004, still painted on both sides with "Kelly Family".
