Eastern National
'Sold On' FLFs and VRs

This ENOC FLF made it into the fleet and elegant livery of Essex independent Hedingham & District. New in September 1965 as 2841, MVX878C was sold to Hedingham upon withdrawal from ENOC in February 1981. Hedingham operated it until the end of 1988, then sold it on to Thorne, Bromsgrove as a driver trainer.
From there, in March 1991, it passed to the London Borough of Richmond as a driver trainer, then to the Royal Borough of Kingston, also as a trainer, one month later - and joining sister bus 2858, OPU823D. Both buses were withdrawn and sold to Terry Hussey, who has been preserving MVX878C having used OPU823D for spares (and then scrapped).
