Seen languishing and unloved in the overflow yard at well-known dealer Norths of Sherburn is 993KOO, formerly Eastern National 1657/2780.
New in 1963, it was sold to Norths upon withdrawal from ENOC in February 1978, and then sold on, still in NBC Green livery to the Wakefield Shirt Company Limited (makers of "Double 2" Shirts) where it served as part of a large fleet of FLFs provided by the company as staff transport. Retaining the ENOC livery to the bitter end, the bus was back at Norths by August 1990, and survived minus various panels and parts until 1993, when it was scrapped on site.
