Former 1625/2751, JWC711, new in November 1962 was withdrawn by Eastern National in 1978, and passed through Norths of Sherburn to Gammond for the Rainworth Royals Jazz Band, based at Rufforth Colliery, Rainworth. In March 1992, the bus was reported as having been sold to a preservationist (Walker) in North Hykeham but it was with Carl Ireland of Hull by August 1992.
It was then exported to German dealer der Blickfang (www.der-blickfang.de). Although reported as sold on by der Blickfang, Paul thinks the dealer still has the bus - note that it was re-registered NVS 695 at some stage, that the roof height has been reduced slightly, and that just visible in the photo is an offside rear entrance with platform doors fitted by Carl Ireland.
