This picture shows former Eastern National FLF6B 1607/2736 with the Castle Point Bus Company sometime between 1977 and 1980. New in January 1962, 183XNO was withdrawn by ENOC in 1976, and passed in March 1977 through dealer Twell of Ingham to dealer Ensign of Grays, then to Brian Smith and Bill May of Benfleet, Essex, better known as S&M Coaches, or the Castle Point Bus Company.
By October 1980, the bus was withdrawn and sold on to a private owner who had converted it to a caravan by October 1981, complete with space for a Mini in the lower deck. Last seen in Islamabad (Pakistan) in October 1988!
