Paul Harrison's personal favourite - mainly because he's owned it since 1988! AVX was new to ENOC as coach 2614 in August 1968. One of only 5 FLFs to get a "G" registration, the last Lodekka chassis numerically, ENOC's last new half-cab bus, and one of only 5 31ft, semi automatic Coaches were the attributes that led him to rescue AVX from Ensign (dealer) as it was due to be exported to Australia. AVX was converted to bus specification in 1975, and passed in 1982 to an Eastern National Preservation Group member who had sold it on to Ensign by 1985, where it lay until the successful rescue bid in 1988.
