AVW402F was new as Eastern National coach 2611, then became bus 2943 before being withdrawn in 1981. Rebuilt as "The Golden Arrow" hospitality unit by Eastern National Engineering in Chelmsford, it was sold on to Arrow Exhibition Services in Maidstone in December 1981.
Then by May 1989 it was with Bus Fayre, later Fare Catering (by April 1995), and was eventually sold to an unknown organisation in the North of England sometime in 1997. Paul missed buying this bus by a month....
