Eastern National SD1423, WNO478, a Bristol KSW5G with ECW L27/28R body. Delivered in 1953, originally part of the Westcliff-on-Sea fleet, it is seen here at Thorpe Bay Corner having arrived on route 25A and now changed to 25 for the journey back to Leigh.
Later renumbered as 2380 and then converted to open-top, WNO478 is now preserved, click here for a recent photo.
