Not one of my best exposed shots, but continuing the thread on accident damaged Leyland Nationals, here is Eastern National 1709, WNO558L, taken at Central Works on January 1975. This one was repaired and returned to service.
Strange to be posting this one only a day after driving a Leyland National again after very many years gap, but it reminded just how different the feel is/was as compared to say an RE or an FLF. That different driving experience (especially steering) and a light front end are I'm sure why a number of front end smashes happened in the early days of LN operation.
