Eastbourne Corporation 25, JK9982, a 1948 Leyland PD2/1 with East Lancashire bodywork seen in Church Street in the Old Town in December 1965. Delivered as H28/24R with a single seat each side as the middle row in the lower saloon this was upseated to H30/26R in 1960. This was withdrawn in August 1967 and sold to Wombwell Diesels.
The building on the far left of this picture is the 15th Century Lamb Inn where Regent V 66 came to grief in spectacular fashion in 1966. The building still survives today (unlike all the other buildings in this view)
