Darwen Corporation 17, 434BTE, was a 1957 AEC Regent V with East Lancs body. This bus was unusual in being badged as a Crossley Regent and was technically the last Crossley double decker to enter service.
The badging exercise came about due to Crossley being bought by AEC in the 1950s and Crossley being Darwen's second choice of chassis in the post war period.
