By 1971 and for a number of years, Irish Gaelic speakers were frequently able to have a monopoly of Córas Iompair Éireann destination blinds. Overseas visitors interchanging at Mallow Station from the main line or the long branch from Killarney and Tralee would have to know or ask about this Leyland Leopard L2 awaiting next duty to Port Láirge or Waterford. Framed by leaning telegraph pole and station exterior E77, AZC417, had CIE DP45F body new in July 1962.
E77 was renumbered SE77 in September 1975, withdrawn July 1985, and scrapped unused by Bus Eireann shortly after transfer in February 1987.
