Unfortunately I had knocked my camera and dislodged the viewfinder which I didn't discover until I eventually got the slides back, hence my cutting off the tops of the towers. On the left is DEL37 a 1937 Bedford WHG tower wagon of Bournemouth Corporation Transport which had entered preservation, but may not have survived. On the right is VH6217 an ex Huddersfield AEC Regent acquired by Bournemouth in 1945 but not used in passenger service, instead being rebuilt as a tower wagon. Originally also painted crimson it was later painted in the standard primrose and maroon livery, as applied to the bus fleet.
