Bedwas and Machen's last Regent V arrived in 1964 as 8, BWO585B. Visually identical to the previous three, it was different under the skin as it was on a 2MD3RA chassis.
It is seen at the Bedwas depot on 17th July 1974 still in Bedwas livery but with Rhymney Valley fleet number 92.
This small depot closed soon after this and the vehicles moved to Caerphilly. Whilst 5 had been delivered with cream upper-deck window surrounds, on 8 they were blue from new and 5 later received that style. 8 is another survivor and is kept along with 5 at the Tameside Transport Collection in Mossley, having been bought straight out of service by the current owners in 1980.
