Bats about Brighton Buses

Brighton, Hove & District 995, FHT112, a 1938 Bristol K5G/ECW CO30/26R, parked inside Conway Street garage, Hove, c. 1960, one of six similar vehicles acquired from Bristol Tramways in 1955 to replace older A.E.C. Regents for use on sea front services.
Together with 994, EHY581, this vehicle was altered from permanent to convertible open top bodywork. By 1964, all six of the ex-Bristol Tramway K5Gs were withdrawn and sold, 995 leaving BH&D in 1962.
