Brighton, Hove & District E.C.W. bodied Bristol FS6G 58, BPM58B, new 1964, in Old Steine, Brighton, in May 1967.
This vehicle was the first of fifteen FS-type Lodekkas with B,H & D to have rear entrance fitted with platform doors. Whilst a benefit in winter time this was at the expense of the side triple number box and split level entrance platform on the open platform FS-type. One wonders what the more elderly cliental made of such `improvements`.
