One for the coats of arms gallery. Bradford was well known for including the municipal coat of arms on the front of most of its buses in the post war period by use of these magnificent enamelled badges which I believe were produced by the Bradford firm Fattorini. The modern East Lancs bodies were also decorated with these aluminium strips. Sunbeam F4 845 was given a lower end touch up in case it was necessary to deputise for the official last trolleybus, its sister vehicle 844. For many years I possessed a set of the strips but no badge. I finally got rid of the strips only to then acquire the badge!! I took this picture prior to travelling on the final tour on the Sunday morning.
