Bradford waited until 1967 before buying Leyland Titan PD3s. 253, FKY253E, a Leyland Titan PD3A/2 with Neepsend body to East Lancs design is one of these, the last East Lancs bodied buses bought by Bradford.
It is seen in 1976 in the first version of the West Yorkshire PTE livery and renumbered 2253.
Neepsend Engineering of Sheffield built a number of bus bodies in the sixties; they were part of the John Brown Group who also owned East Lancs at that time. All Neepsend bodies were to East Lancs design.
