Tumilty, Irvine had 1950 Plaxton bodied Daimler CVD6SD coach DAG571 rebodied in 1962 to use on the jointly operated AA service. It was fitted with a Northern Counties H35/28F body and re-registered to TCS402.
It is seen here at Tumilty’s garage at Irvine with the rear of one of his two Sentinels on the right, a Ford Thames Trader lorry and a stylish Jaguar. On the left is one of his Willowbrook bodied Daimler CVD6SD buses. The AA fleet at that time was quite interesting with Tumilty running mostly Daimlers, Dodds running mainly Guy Arabs and Young favouring Leylands
