CCS545, new in December 1948 to Dodds, Troon, was a Guy Arab III with a Brockhouse C35F body. In 1952 it was transferred to the bus fleet as DP35F and given fleet number DT1, and with similar ex-coach CCS 544, numbered DT2, was used on the A.A. bus services.
"British Bus Systems number Eight" records both that it was rebuilt to B39F in 1963 and also seemingly withdrawn in 1962 and sold to Gunnings, Barr in September 1962 and then to Anderson, Innes in March 1967. John photographed it, at Dodd's garage, still with Dodds in June 1963 when it was carrying fleet number DT3. It had presumably been renumbered when a new DT1, DVD 310, entered service in May 1953 or perhaps it was DT3 from the date of transfer from the coach fleet and B.B.S. 8 is in error.
